The Low Vision Center provides people with visual impairment with a variety of services to improve their quality of life, provided by expert optometrists for poor eyesight, vision aid trainers, social workers and other services.
The Institute’s services include:
Diagnosis and adjustment of vision aids by expert optometrists for poor eyesight
Practise in the use of visual aids and exposure to technological possibilities (computer, mobile phone, Orcam glasses)
Lending aids for home trial
Meeting with a social worker for assistance in exercising the rights and introduction to existing services in the community
